Hallo!
Ich komme bei Question 4 und 5 leider auch nach öftern durchschauen der Folien auf nichts brauchbares. Hab die Fragen wo ich mir nicht sicher bin oder nicht weiß was gemeint ist, raus geschrieben.
Es wäre super falls irgendjemand weiß was gemeint ist, und kurz das schreiben könnte!

In order to understand the way a protein works, it may be convenient to determine the three-dimensional structure. This can both be done by experimental means as by theoretical means.
c) Mention a way to obtain a model 3D structure with a computer. Indicate why this should work.

->ist da Homology modeling, Protein threading und Ab initio structure prediction gemeint ?

Question 5:
We are trying to predict the structure of a protein, for which we cannot find a structure with a similar sequence.
a) Mention an alternative method. Do you trust this method? Why/why not?
b)Why is it difficult to predict a protein structure from the sequence only?

After a protein model was generated, its quality needs to be assessed
c) Mention a molecular check that can be performed. What do we measure and what should the outcome be?
d) What question does a docking algorithm try to answer?

Meine Prüfung war im Nov 2013, aber hier sind meine Unterlagen von der Vorbereitung, vielleicht helfen sie dir weiter.
