Bachelor Thesis
Techniques and Technologies for Preparing and Cooking Food - A State-of-the-Art Review


BOKU - Institute of Food Technology - in collaboration with an industrial partner is looking for an interested and skilled student in order to conduct a Bachelor Thesis starting in June 2014. It is the aim of the thesis to identify and summarize current techniques and technologies that are applied for preparing and cooking food in the kitchen. This should be done based on a market, patent and literature review followed by a structuring and clustering of obtained information and identification of non-conventional techniques.


A good command of English together with a high motivation to explore the world of innovative food preparation and cooking techniques and technologies is required in order to successfully finalize the thesis latest by August 2014.
