The Biomaterial- and Enzyme technology group of the Inst. of Environmental Biotechnology, IFA Tulln, offering several positions as project worker for 20-40 hours/week. Within the offered positions, various research project will be supported dealing with the use of enzymes in polymer modification and degradation.

Running research projects topic the degradation of non-biodegradable polymers in a green approach by the aid of enzymes. Simultaneously the group´s interest focuses on the utilization of various biopolymers (polysaccharides, lignin eg) through enzymatic modifications.

We search for bachelor and master students motivated to support us in our daily buisness applying enzymes in means of polymer exploitation.

Start: as of now
How long: 6-12 month, (flexible, accoring to the applicant´s wishes)
Extent of work: 20/40 hour/week
Payment: according to Kollektivvertrag
