The aim of the research project is to develop a microfluidic system to continuously produce homoas
well as heterotypic multicellular spheroids (MCSs). Formation of MCSs will be achieved after
modification of microfluidic channels by coating with S-layer protein SbpA that acts as a suitable
supports for spheroid formation (Susana Moreno-Flores and Seta Küpcü. Soft Matter, 2015, 11,
1259).
