Bühler AG is developing a new non-thermal processing technology that impacts the
microbiological safety of dry food materials. A multidisciplinary team with expertise in
mechanical engineering, food processing, process analytics and microbiology is about to carry
out tests involving a range of processing parameters and products. The Master Thesis with focus
on food process microbiology and/or chemistry requires a good combination between
theoretical and practical work and offers an excellent opportunity to apply your microbiology or
chemistry knowledge in the development of a commercial application. Results will be available
for publication.
The experimental part will take place in Switzerland.
The work can be accomplished as an internship or as a master's thesis. In both cases, travel, accomodation and other expenses will be compensated.
